About the Event
Recommended for students in grades 1-3. Due to participant limits, only one parent/guardian per family please.
We will meet at the front entrance at 9:50am. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Navigating the Neighbourhood: 10:00am-11:30am
Get to know the Burnaby Village Museum neighbourhood. Learn about the people and places that make up our community and what it means to be part of a neighbourhood. Explore a century-old interurban tram, a general store, and a heritage home while making connections to your own life and community.
Lunch from 11:30am-12:00pm
Please pack a lunch and water bottle. The cafe will be CLOSED.
Coast Salish Program: 12:00pm-1:30pm
Learn about Coast Salish culture from an Indigenous Educator.
